Communications

Zeta House uses WhatsApp for communication with residents and alumni. WhatsApp is used because it is most widely used messaging application in the entire world, and onboarding new residents is the easiest.

The Zeta House Residents group is for residents staying at Zeta House.

The Zeta House Alumni group is for current and former residents.

When you leave Zeta House, you will no longer be part of Zeta House Residents, however you can continue to stay connected in the Zeta House Alumni group.

To ensure that all members have a positive experience in our communication platforms, please adhere to the following rules:

  1. Respectful Communication: Always be respectful and courteous in your messages. Personal attacks, derogatory language, and discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated.
  2. Relevance: Keep discussions relevant to the group's purpose. For Zeta House Residents, focus on topics related to life at Zeta House, events, announcements, or assistance needed. The Zeta House General group can include broader topics but should remain respectful and considerate.
  3. Privacy: Do not share personal information about residents without their consent. Respect everyone's privacy and maintain confidentiality where needed.
  4. No Spam: Avoid sending repetitive messages and promotions that do not relate to the community. Spamming the group will result in removal or muting.
  5. Conflict Resolution: If conflicts arise, try to resolve them calmly and privately. If necessary, reach out to the Community Steward for assistance.
  6. Constructive Feedback: Feedback and suggestions are welcome. Please provide them constructively and be open to differing opinions.

Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in a warning or removal from the group, depending on the severity of the violation.

Thank you for contributing to the positive and collaborative environment at Zeta House!
